What do you do at DME Forensics? As the Software Engineering Manager, I am responsible for ensuring we have a strong process in place that supports our amazing team of software developers for digital forensics. We put out high-quality software in the most performant fashion possible while enjoying the daily tasks that go into it. Additionally, I work closely with stakeholders to ensure the work we do aligns with the vision for the product.
Please describe your current work from home setup: I share a study with my wife. We have separate desks and sit a few feet from each other. My desk has two large monitors and a docking station.
What are your credentials/experience working in your position? I have managed global engineering teams in many different technologies for many years. I spent the last 19 years in the gambling industry doing everything from testing, forensic investigations, large presentations, and running software teams. This diverse experience has provided me with unique perspectives on how to best create high-quality products productively.
What do you like about working at DME Forensics? It is great working with such a tight team and a founder who is so involved in the day-to-day. DME’s environment promotes teamwork and makes everyone feel like they are fighting the same battles every day.
What is your background? I moved to Colorado from Wyoming many years ago. I love the mountains in Colorado and don’t miss the winds in Wyoming much.
What are the values that drive you? A successful day at work is one where we have great collaboration leading to shared ideas and creativity.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I enjoy exploring the world and local restaurants with my wife. I also really enjoy live music, skiing, and snowboarding.
