We partner with -iNPUT-ACE to provide a seamless workflow from video acquisition with DVR Examiner through analysis and processing. When using DVR Examiner, investigators can send video clips directly to -iNPUT-ACE, saving you time when reviewing evidence.
One example of how this integration will aid investigators is a case where digital forensics experts were asked to analyze three separate DVRs for footage of a suspect fleeing the site of a homicide. DVR Examiner was used to extract video from each DVR, while correcting the time offset on each device. Investigators were able to filter clips pulled from the drive to focus on the specific cameras within the area of interest and a 15-minute window when the crime occurred.
After acquisition, the video clips from each DVR device were sent directly from DVR Examiner to -iNPUT-ACE upon export. The files in question opened within -iNPUT-ACE, where investigators were able to analyze and process the video footage. Investigators were able to locate the images of the suspect and mark them within the program for future reference. Finally, the investigators were able to pull image captures from the incident into a printed narrative report.
