DVR Examiner 2.8 is here! This new release primarily includes back-end updates and bug fixes, but there are some changes you might notice within the program:
- Updated the SSF family of filesystems resulting in a significant improvement in scan speed and support for frame level timestamps
- Updated the U7416 family of filesystems to support additional systems and configurations
- Updated the RSF family of filesystems resulting in support for additional devices and H.265 recordings
- Updated the IFS family of filesystems to decrease memory usage during scan
- Updated the open format video platform to support more configurations and resolved an issue that may cause DVR Examiner to crash
- Added the ability to view the frame type (reference, non-reference) during preview
- Added notification to users if a video frame cannot be decoded during preview
- Improvements to reporting formats, layouts, and fields
